Where do we draw the line when stealing someone's idea?

Pastiche is a compilation work of art consciously imitating the style of some writers, age or school, but not having the characteristics of forgery. This happens when artist imitates some original work, as they want to give new 'message' and meaning to the work. On the other hand the 'dictionary definition and some would let you use it as a synonym for a parody. And some would use it for the simple act of writing a new story featuring someone else's character'.

Synchronicity reminds me of art and architecture of post-industrial era, when new materials steel, reinforced concrete and cast iron showed up on separate continents and simultaneously in art artists become fascinated about machines and everything due to the new materials.Now it is quite a strong current and no longer so impet. Designing from organic materials bio-degenerate and friendly to environment which is reflected in the language in which artists express themselves. And because there is the trend around the world simultaneously new ideas appear independently.

Although as we look at the issue of art our principles might be slightly different. So sometimes artists might have same idea, and decide to use it at the same or different time. I believe this can be a good thing as everyone has different style, and even their attempts to recreate or use same piece might turn out with completely different outcome.

However there is one sad truth, as we would putt together posters from cinemas, or film covers from the recent years, we are able to see strong connections, and conclusion of it is that the originality and creativity are fading away.
